mai2, pilih sayur di supermarket! ^_^

hye to all!

today, i want to be a vegetable specialist! haha.. pakar sayur.. tapi xde r pakar mne. i read reader digest just now..so dpt la sikit info tadi..

push the cart towards the vege department, then thinking of choosing which vegetables. the one with a lot of holes or clean n clear no blackish colour? haha.. ur choice people! setgh orang kate, pilih yang banyak lubang so kita tau die tak banyak pesticides :)

this research is being done by the US department of agriculture. they test with spinaches. they said that, when the spinaches are put under the supermarket light (yang terang benderang giler tuh)  for 3 days, they have a higher level of vitamin C,K E and Folate. They also have a higher levels of carotenoids (yang baik untuk mata if i've not mistaken), lutein n zeaxanthin(ni untuk awet muda kot tak silap) those scientific terms, try to search in google :) Just google it!  however, sayur-sayur yang disimpan dalam gelap pulak, unchanged or maybe their content declined. Amazingly, even though these vegetables dah tercabut dari tanah..kire memang loose betul from the soil, they still undergoes Photosynthesis! Allahu Akbar! Tgk tuh, betapa Maha Kuasa-Nya Ya Allah!

P/S: makan sayur banyak-banyak. especially the greeny leafy!
