sleep? know bout it!

you're tired. facing stress everyday. wake up early after a short sleep. stay up till late night. feeling tired eventhough u 'think' that u had enough sleep. maybe even now, you are sleepy.. :)

let me share some things.. about SLEEP.... ZZzzZZzz

1. Have a REALLY GOOD sleep.
  • go to bed at the same time nightly (set ur biological clock)
  • set enough time so that you can get that GOLDEN 7 hours sleep time
  • refrain from caffeine,  heavy or spicy foods, and alcohol and other optional medications that might keep you awake, four to six hours before bed-time.
  • avoid noises and lights that can make you awake
  •  Exercise regularly but not right before bed.
2. Constantly timing your sleep time and habits
  •  miss your sleep one night? that can drive you accidents.
3. Sleep like a baby
  • Multiple, shorter sleep sessions nightly, rather than one long one, are an option. This is called polyphasic sleep. ever heard about that? well, Thomas Edison do sleep this way. :) taking short naps :)
4. We need less sleep as we age
  • We'll die without sleep. The details are sketchy, but research suggests it's a time when we restore vital biological processes and also sort and cement memories. Last year, the World Health Organization determined that nightshift work, which can lead to sleep troubles, is a probable human carcinogen. On the upside, the latest research suggests we need less of it as we get older.
5. We sleep better than we think we do
